Madden! Huawei OpenLife Smart Home Solution is implemented like this

On August 31, Huawei's largest global ecological conference for the ICT industry, HUAWEI CONNECT 2016, opened in Shanghai for three days. 20,000 industry elites from more than 120 countries and regions have explored the profound changes and impacts brought about by the Internet of Things around the theme of “Shaping the Cloud Era” and actively explored the realization of intelligent transformation.

At the conference, Zeng Xiaolong, the general manager of Huawei's OpenLife operator smart home solution, first elaborated on Huawei's OpenLife smart home solutions, four types of ecological partners, three major paths, seven API standards, and six integrated frameworks. Thus, it marks that the "smart family" is no longer a concept, but is gradually becoming a reality through the form of the home gateway SDK.

OpenLife's four major categories of ecological partners

At present, most of the smart home hardware equipment suppliers are basically supported by 2B services, such as the pre-installation market with real estate and decoration companies, but it is not a universal service. Operators are most likely to turn smart homes into a stable, efficient, and universal service.

Reason one: Smart homes need end-to-end network resources, and operators can guarantee this;

Reason 2: Many people will worry about their privacy and data security. Large telecom operators are subject to state supervision and credibility is more secure;

Reason 3: The most critical point is that the operator has a large number of offline service resources, there are business halls in the streets and alleys, and the operation and maintenance teams in the community outlets can come to the door;

Reason 4: The operators themselves have been working on the integration of industry resources and have rich experience.

The biggest problem with smart families now is the problem of interconnection, because various new technologies are emerging. If the operator is a key sales channel for the partners in this industry, it should be very helpful to pull the technical standards, and finally establish a new ecosystem of cooperation between partners and suppliers.

Huawei OpenLife is actually helping operators realize the interconnection of smart home ecosystem, and then realize commercial support through operators' channels. As shown above, the OpenLife Smart Home Eco Partner consists of four types of companies:

1) JPP (Joining Product Partner) is a hardware product company represented by Nanjing IOT and Huitailong, and forms some complete solutions with operators;

2) JTP (Joining Technoloy Partne) provides some technical support in the home business, such as cloud storage, Zigbee Alliance, etc.

3) JBP (Joining Business Partner) water and electricity basic service providers, real estate properties, home improvement channel integrators, system integrators, etc., such as Vanke, Xinhe Chuang;

4) JMP (Joining MarkeTIng Partner) Huawei's ecological agent selected in China is Shenzhen Wisdom Bay Technology Co., Ltd. Through cooperation with the agency, operators can provide end-to-end integration, not only to provide product linkage solutions, but more importantly to provide consumers with an integrated environment for service landing.

All of these partners will be directly exposed to the global operators, from which operators will choose the way they can carry out some business cooperation and import them globally.
