From the business spin-off of giants such as Osram and Philips, the idea of ​​abandoning the traditional business of car lighting has gradually become clear. They have released LED lighting products for automobiles, which are used in the application of taillights, directional lights and brake lights. The share of the factory in LED lighting for automobiles has increased year by year.

However, with the increase of R&D investment and technical strength, domestic manufacturers rely on gradually mature series products to put on the market, and the horn of entering the field of automobile lighting is getting louder and louder.

Based on the high standard requirements of automotive lamps for LED components, the market has paid more attention to the reliability and stability of new products that domestic manufacturers are constantly introducing.

In this evaluation, Guangzhou Hongli Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hongli Optoelectronics”) selected the LED light source series 2525 packaged products for the special lamp lighting field.

For the convenience of comparison, we also added an international first-line brand of the same type 2525 optoelectronic products (hereinafter referred to as "brand C"), and invited the LED-FPD Engineering Technology Research and Development Center of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology of Foshan as a third-party testing agency to conduct samples. Data detection, in order to show the market whether the current domestic brand products are sufficient to compete in the field of automotive lighting.

I. Using the Instrument Systems CAS-140CT photodetection system to measure transient photoelectric parameters & luminous flux / efficacy versus current variation characteristics.

Remarks:

The measured ambient temperature was 25 °C; the humidity was 53% RH.

The CAS-140CT spectrometer is more convenient for obtaining parameters including spectrum, irradiation and chromaticity at one time. Compared with a higher dynamic signal range, it can guarantee the same high measurement accuracy of the full spectrum range, and is equipped with a motor drive cycle. Scaling device can measure dark current synchronously without interruption. It has high sensitivity and small error in the measurement of transient photoelectric parameters.

II. Test the luminous flux/light efficiency as a function of ambient temperature using the TeraLED component in the Thermal Transient Tester (T3ster) thermal transient test system.

Remarks:

The measured ambient temperature is 25 °C; the humidity is 55 % RH.

TeraLED fully meets the requirements of CIE 127-2007 for LED light test. With T3Ster, it can meet the requirements of JESD 51-52 LED light and heat integration test, and can test the luminous flux, color temperature and lumen efficiency under different current and junction temperatures.

Transient photoelectric parameter

Let's first take a look at the transient parameters of the voltage, luminous flux, luminous efficacy, color temperature and color rendering index of Hongli Optoelectronics and Brand C at a current value of 350 mA.

Moreover, it can be seen that the eutectic soldering area of ​​the brand C chip is large, and the relative heat dissipation is also better.

In general, LED luminous flux is proportional to the forward bias current in a safe operating range, but nonlinear, the larger the current, the smaller the slope; and the light effect is approximately inversely proportional to the forward current after its peak value.

A certain evaluation room: In the range of forward current test, Hongli photoelectric luminous flux and luminous efficiency value is slightly higher than brand C, but the slope of Hongli photoelectric parameter curve is slightly larger than brand C.

A certain evaluation room: In the initial test period, Hongli Optoelectronics is slightly higher than the brand C sample in terms of luminous flux and light efficiency, and it is outstanding in both luminous flux and luminous efficacy value. With the increase of temperature, the luminous flux of Hongli photoelectric sample and The decrease of the light effect value is slightly higher than that of the brand C sample, and the ambient temperature rises to about 85 °C, and the transient values ​​of both tend to be the same. As the temperature rises further, the brand C luminous flux and light performance are relatively stable.

It is particularly noteworthy that, in terms of light efficiency, the brand C has a slight upward increase before the ambient temperature reaches 40 °C, and then maintains a slow downward trend. The sample of Hongli Optoelectronics also has a similar rising curve, but the relative amplitude is relatively It is much smaller.

It can be seen that Hongli photoelectric samples have certain advantages in luminous flux and light effect transient values, and have already shown the level of direct pursuit of international manufacturers. However, in terms of stability, the performance of brand C samples is more prominent.
