Its main purpose and intention is to make full use of the strong research and development capabilities of independent domestic automotive electronics R & D institutions, combined with Infineon ’s experience and product advantages in automotive electronic product applications: 1. Provide semiconductor components and system solutions to promote local automotive electronic products 2. Shorten the product development cycle and enable Infineon products to enter the market quickly; 3. Facing more and more mature scientific research achievements in China, promote the transformation of scientific research achievements into products through the Infineon Automotive Electronics Ecosystem.
Infineon said that all partners will not only receive direct technical support from Infineon, including free samples and free tools. More importantly, Infineon will also give part of the turnover generated based on the industrialization of the automotive electronics ecosystem to partners as research and development funds. The data shows that at present, all Infineon contracted industrialization partners have (multiple) horizontally contracted research projects with component manufacturers or car manufacturers. Up to now, there have been more than 190 cumulative projects, more than 70 mature programs, and more than 700 Engineers are involved, and the customer covers the top ten local automakers and parts manufacturers. It is expected that these projects will bring up to 80 million euros in sales in the next five years, and Infineon will also provide 4 million to 5 million euros to reward related projects.
