According to TCL Multimedia, the sales volume of LCD TVs in September increased by 43.8% to 1,895,900 units. Among them, the sales volume of LED-backlit LCD TVs increased to 1,525,600 units, accounting for 80.5% of the total sales of LCD TVs.
In the first nine months, TCL Group's LCD TV sales volume reached 10.8491 million units, an increase of 51.5% year-on-year. The proportion of 3D TVs and smart and Internet TVs in total LCD TV sales increased significantly.
In the Chinese market, LCD TV sales in September increased by 37.5% year-on-year to 1,190,100 units. Among them, the sales volume of LED-backlit LCD TVs was 1,101,100 units, accounting for 85.5% of the sales of LCD TVs in the market. In overseas markets, LCD TV sales in September increased by 55.8% year-on-year to 705,800 units.
