Mitsubishi Showcases Video Wall, LED Screen, Projectors

Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America displayed several new products at InfoComm2008; among them was an eye-catching 80-inch video wall.
The MegaView video wallcube measures 80 inches diagonally and was designed specifically for large command and control centers. With SXGA+ resolution and abrightness of 190 cd/m2, its well suited for data walls, especially in situations where viewers sit far from the screens.Black Bead screen Technology offers high-contrast black levels, while Dynamic Brightness Balancing automatically adjusts the image for uniform brightness. Likewise, Smart Lamp and Smart Colorwheeltechnologies maintain color uniformity across the wall, according to the company.
One of the most unique features is how the cubes open from the front, providing easier access to the engine for maintenance and reducing the cost ofownership. An exclusive automatic lamp-changing unit senses a lampfailure or when luminance changes, decreasing the downtime due to afai Led lamp .
