ORA is very willing to present its achievements in automotive lighting, LCD backlight (PDA), office applications (projectors), and urban lighting in front of Chinese users. The introduction of LightTools 6.2 also has some considerations based on this aspect, which can help enterprises shorten the product development cycle and improve product quality quickly. Analysis of test points using reverse ray tracing: LightTools now supports ray illuminating from the test points on the receiver to one or more sources in the model for illuminance and intensity analysis of the test points. This feature greatly improves the simulation efficiency of the model and allows local illuminance values ​​to be found at specific locations in the receiver.

    LightTools SolidWorks Interface Module: The 3D mechanical model built by SolidWorks software can be integrated with LightTools software. In the process of communication and optimization using two software, the optical property definitions and changes of the model can be transferred in both directions in LightTools and SolidWorks.
Improvements have improved receiver and charting capabilities: New light intensity data measurement capabilities and the ability to draw histograms along the longitudinal plane. This greatly improves the accuracy of the measurement, especially the near field measurement. In addition, the far field receiver's charting capabilities have been improved so that the receiver's orientation and coordinates can now be clearly depicted and displayed.
Supports the format of the files required for industrial lighting design: You can export files of the light intensity distribution files IES and LDT standard formats from LightTools.

    Support for the use of composite particles in bulk scattering materials: LightTools now supports the definition of composite particles in bulk scattering materials, allowing support for multiple phosphor modeling.

    Practical enhancements: LightTools' user interface has many enhancements and improvements, including new surfaces based on reference points and coordinate system definitions. The new system navigation flags make it easier to identify the type of entity. New mouse control settings can be The model can be enlarged and moved, and multiple selections and editing can be performed.

    Enhancements to the optimization module: The enhanced LightTools optimization module defines optimization functions, including new optimization function-based test points and light intensity surfaces, as well as simple light definition functions. LightTools' backlight optimization module has been further enhanced with new features, especially keyboard backlight optimization.
