Recently, the reporter learned from the Yangtze River Waterway Bureau that a new type of blue color light beacon light was first tested in the Three Gorges reservoir area, which will greatly improve the recognition rate of navigation marks in the complex lighting background and enhance the navigation of the navigation mark at night. The effect is to reduce the energy loss of the navigation mark.
It is understood that the navigation mark of the Three Gorges reservoir area has always used fixed light, that is, the navigation light does not flash, and the colors are red, green, white and yellow. With the rapid development of ports and cities along the Yangtze River, the city's lighting has become increasingly rampant, which has caused certain disturbances to the navigation light, increasing the difficulty of the ship's driving personnel to identify the navigation light, and posing a safety hazard for the navigation of the night ship. This time, by adjusting the flashing rhythm of the beacon light and changing the color of the navigation mark light, the visibility of the navigation mark light is improved, and the clearer clear waterway boundary is marked for the night ship.
There are three sections in this trial area, namely the Miaohe-Zhangjiaxi River Section, the Zhongxian Port Area, and the Badong Yellow Wax Geological Landslide. From the temple to the Zhangjiaxi section, 84 navigation aids were tested, 70 of which were changed from fixed light to flash. Two of the navigation lights were changed from red to red and blue, and the remaining 12 were kept unchanged. The two navigation marks of the 6 navigation marks and the yellowstone geological landslide waters of the Zhongxian Port Area were changed to red-blue flash or green-blue flash.
Director Wan Dabin of the Bureau of the Bureau said that this time, some of the navigation lights in the Three Gorges reservoir area were changed from fixed lights to flash lights. Another advantage is that the life of the navigation lights is extended, and the flash saves half of the energy compared to the fixed light. At the same time, this is the first time on the channel of the Yangtze River to adopt the red and blue flash and green and blue flash lights with blue as the auxiliary light color, which lays the foundation for the next promotion of the Yangtze River.
