Recently, a good news came from the Industrial New District of Lai'an County, Anhui Province. The Lai'an Silicon Energy Industry Base was identified as a provincial-level silicon energy industry base by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission. This is currently the only provincial-level silicon energy industry base in Anhui Province.
Lai'an Silicon Energy Industry Base is located in the Industrial New Zone of Lai'an County. It mainly develops two core products of solar cells and silicon energy storage batteries. These two products are high-tech products encouraged by the state. At present, there are 7 silicon energy industrial enterprises in the base, with a total investment of 2.393 billion yuan. An industrial chain consisting of single crystal silicon refining, slicing, solar cell modules, solar lamp production, and silicon energy storage energy storage has taken shape. We will strive to establish 30 enterprises in 2012, investing a total of 5 billion yuan, cultivating 10 leading enterprises, achieving an output value of 16 billion yuan, paying profits and taxes of 800 million yuan, establishing a silicon energy industry incubator, and two provincial-level enterprise technology centers. There are 2 high-tech enterprises in the province. It is estimated that by 2015, one Anhui Energy Engineering Research Center will be established, one state-level enterprise technology center, five provincial-level enterprise technology centers, and 10 provincial high-tech enterprises.
