Hisense Group President Liu Hongxin Recent market data reveals that TVs with screen sizes of 55 inches and above have become the dominant choice among consumers. In China, this segment accounts for nearly 70% of sales. While the overall color TV market remains sluggish, large-screen and ultra-high-definition models—particularly those 75 inches or larger—have seen significant growth. This trend has allowed Hisense to maintain a leading position in average shipment size, further solidifying its presence in the premium TV market.
55-inch and above size television products have become mainstream consumer Liu Hongxin also shared that since CES 2014, Hisense has consistently focused on advancing laser TV technology. From 100-inch 1080p to 100-inch 4K, then to 100-inch bicolor 4K, and even smaller sizes like 80-inch 4K and larger ones such as 150-inch 4K, the company has continuously pushed the boundaries. This rapid development is the result of years of investment in R&D and supply chain optimization. At this year’s CES, Hisense showcased a full lineup of laser TVs, including 80-inch, 88-inch, 100-inch, and 150-inch models.
Hisense believes that in the next three years, laser TV will be the fastest growing category in TV products. Liu Hongxin noted that after a decade of effort, Hisense has successfully positioned laser technology as a key driver of transformation in the television industry. He sees it as a powerful tool that meets the evolving needs of global consumers. Looking ahead, he predicts that laser TV will be the fastest-growing segment in the television market over the next three years, and Hisense will continue to lead from a stronger global position.
