At the ceremony, Li Zhongjun from Baidu Alliance and Shao Yang from Huawei’s consumer business unveiled the key aspects of their collaboration. In terms of AI platform development, the two companies will integrate Huawei’s HiAI platform with Baidu’s PaddlePaddle deep learning framework, leveraging Huawei’s NPU (Neural Processing Unit) to build an open ecosystem centered on AI innovation. This will empower developers to deliver richer AI applications and smarter user experiences.
In addition, they will deepen cooperation in voice and image recognition across smart devices, making human-machine interaction more seamless and enabling “everything awake, everything connected.†For AR innovations, they will adopt a combined approach of “technical innovation + hardware implementation,†creating an industry-leading AR ecosystem that bridges the virtual and real worlds.
