Elevator energy consumption prediction model:
A simple model is provided below, but it is not applicable to more complex situations or situations where a dedicated model is used. It can be used to predict the energy consumption of the elevator during operation. The results can be used for energy assessment throughout the building.

In the formula:
E elevator - the energy used by the elevator in one year, kWh/year;
K1—————— Drive system coefficient, K1=1.6 (AC drive system)
K1=1.0 (VVVF drive system)
K1=0.6 (VVVF drive system with energy feedback);
K2 ——————The average running distance coefficient, 2 layers K2=1.0,
Single ladder or two and more than 2 layers K2=0.5,
3 sets and above K2=0.3;
K3—————— Average load factor in the car, K3=0.35;
H————Maximum running distance, m;
F———— The number of annual starts, generally between 100 000 and 300 000;
P———— the rated power of the elevator,
P=P1×P0, kW;
P1 - the coefficient associated with the balance factor,
P1=1.0 when the balance coefficient is 50%
When the balance coefficient is 40%, P1=0.8
P1=0.6 when the balance coefficient is 30%
P0 = (0.5x rated load x rated speed x gn) / (1000xnsxngxnm)
Here:
Ns - suspension efficiency, default value ns = 0.85;
Ng - transmission efficiency, worm gear ng = 0.75;
No gear ng=1.0;
Nm - motor efficiency, default value for AC nm = 0.75
For VVVF nm = 0.85;
