LED (semiconductor light-emitting diode) itself is very energy-saving, its characteristics are: high luminous efficiency, long life, easy to control, maintenance-free; it is a new generation of solid cold light source, soft color, bright, colorful, low loss Low energy consumption and green products. But when made into an LED display, the power consumption is not small. The operating voltage of the LED is generally 3.2V, and the maximum operating current is 0.02A, which means that the maximum power consumption is 0.06W. At present, the most products in the industry are iron box screens. The weight of the screen body is more than 50 kg per square meter, and the weight of the steel structure is very heavy. Even if you are a small and medium-sized project of tens of square meters, the total weight must be in tons. In this way, many floor buildings are difficult to bear such heavy attachments, and the load-bearing balance of the building and the pressure of the foundation are not acceptable. Therefore, lightweight is also the development direction of LED large screen.

Third, the development of thin and transparent

The electronic products that are commonly used in our lives, the TV sets are getting thinner and thinner, and many mobile phones are also featuring ultra-thin products, and computer monitors are also moving in a thin direction. The product is thinner and the weight is correspondingly lighter, which makes it easier to transport and easy to assemble for the display. LED large screens must also follow the mainstream of electronic products. Let's say "transparent", "transparent" means through the wind and light. If the LED large screen is installed at the top of the high-rise building, then the wind is very important. The greater the air permeability, the smaller the wind resistance, the stronger the wind resistance, and the greater the protection of the product. If the LED display is installed on the side of the high-rise building, then the product can transmit light, it will not affect the indoor lighting, otherwise the product will become a dead wall after the product is installed, so that the room is as dark as the night. In summary, thin is also the development direction of LED large screen.

Fourth, the direction of patent protection

From the current status of global LED patents, in terms of technology, LED has a high technical bottleneck, but has a low barrier. The initial investment is not large, and the capital threshold is not high. In order to maintain technological competitiveness and reduce the risk of technology spillovers, patents are the best protection method. The patent barrier is the main means for manufacturers to evade competition. Therefore, patents have become an important issue that cannot be avoided in the development of the LED industry, but the entire industry has not paid much attention to it. After the start of the LED display industry, basically did not undergo adjustment and development, it directly entered the stage of fierce competition. Everyone was busy fighting for the market and expanding the scale. Almost no effort was spent on product development, nor did it take into account knowledge. Property rights protection, some new technologies have not been patented in time. As the industry slowly matures, regulates, and protects its intellectual property rights and intangible assets by applying for patents, it is also an inevitable development direction of the LED large-screen industry.

V. Development towards fast and accurate splicing

This is mainly for the LED rental display. The characteristic of the lease is that it is often disassembled and assembled to meet the temporary needs, so the display box must be able to be spliced ​​quickly and accurately. Just like an outdoor temporary concert, you need to rent a background display of about 50 square meters, and the decision to use the display may be installed two days before the start of the concert. In this case, if the product cannot be spliced ​​quickly and accurately, there is no way to meet the requirements of the site. Even if it is a fixed installation, there is also this requirement, otherwise it will increase the labor cost and affect the flatness of the large screen, thus affecting the display effect. Therefore, fast and accurate installation is also the development direction of LED display.

At the beginning of this century, huge market demand made LED big-screen enterprises springing up. Almost overnight, thousands of LED display companies appeared on this magical land in Shenzhen. Self-developed new products have large investment and slow speed, so everyone is trying to take shortcuts, sloppy design, and plagiarism have become common problems in this stage of the industry. Not only the appearance size and mounting hole position of the products between the enterprises are different, but even the products inside the company are also uneven. The mounting plates, hole positions and screw specifications of the same type of products are not used universally. Procurement, preparation, and after-sales service all cause great inconvenience. Therefore, the standardization of LED large-screen products is also an inevitable trend.
