Second, it has a temperature protection function. We know that when the voltage rises, the temperature of the power supply will rise accordingly. If the temperature rises to a certain height, the life of the power supply will drop rapidly until it fails.

The temperature-protected power supply automatically reduces the output current when the voltage rises (or when the temperature rises to a certain value), effectively preventing the power supply temperature from rising continuously, so that the power supply temperature is always within a reasonable range.

In addition, there is such a misunderstanding in the industry, and everyone will think that the accuracy of the constant current is as accurate as possible. Therefore, the accuracy of constant current is generally regarded as an important criterion for evaluating the quality of power supply. I believe that the constant current accuracy deviation is within the range of ±5%-10%, which will not have much impact on the luminous efficacy of the lamp. Excessive accuracy of constant current is required, which in turn affects the safety and stability of the power supply.

Ming Microelectronics will fully consider the performance and safety factors of the power supply, use innovative design to improve product performance, and reduce production costs through large-scale production.

Under the premise of ensuring product performance, we reduce the number of components used by scale integration. The overall BOM component of the power board is reduced from 13 (such as: SM7523B) to 9 (such as: SM7302), and then to the next 5 (eg SM2082C), reducing power costs.

The core of integrated circuits is to reduce costs, achieve mass production, and create a wide range of profitable space for enterprises and customers. Ming Microelectronics recently introduced the high power factor LED lighting driver chip SM2087, which can be directly packaged in LED lamps.

The chip adopts four-way segmented current step-by-step high-power factor patented technology, using 700V CDMOS hybrid single-chip integration process, eliminating the need for transformers, inductors and electrolytic capacitors, achieving a power factor greater than 0.99 and a THD of less than 20%. The conversion efficiency is over 90%, the output current accuracy is less than ±5%, and the advantages are small volume and high reliability.

At present, Mingwei Electronics has provided this driver chip to a well-known LED lighting company in China, and cooperated with R&D to develop the design of de-energized lamps. It is believed that mature products will be put on the market soon, bringing about innovative changes in LED lighting. .
