Osram announces new Golden LED lights for Golden Dragon Oval that combines solar and LED technology

Subject: Industry Germany's Siemens Group's lighting company, and also the LED manufacturer's OSRAM, OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (OSRAM Opto Semiconductors) said today that the company has published Golden Dragon Oval's new LED street light combined with solar energy and LED technology will further promote the demand for environmental protection and energy-saving street lighting in various countries.

According to Osram, Austria's Diex and H?rbranz already have LED streetlight applications that combine solar and LED technology, while Osram products provide clear street lighting in a 3.4-meter-high environment.

The product is capable of outputting up to 60 lumens at 350 milliamperes (mA), and can also be operated with currents of 130 milliamps in this Austrian application case, with new products in each case under this condition. The LED consumes 0.35 watts of power, while the power of a typical application environment is 1 watt.

In addition, the product is set to an illumination angle of 80° x 120°. Most of the light is used for street and road lighting. Light does not scatter into other directions like ordinary street lamps, reducing light damage. The pollution does not include mercury, and it also complies with the EU's RoHS environmental protection regulations. It will not cause serious environmental pollution if it is discarded.

The co-owned manufacturer EPS Soltec uses Osram's LED light source with solar modules to supply the operating power of LED street lights. A group of solar LED street lights uses 12 Osram's Golden Dragon Oval, and solar cells can fully supply LED street lights. Required, its power is also very suitable for LED light source, because the LED street lamp needs less than 10 volts, unlike traditional street lamps that require 230 volts of power supply, LEDs also save power converter costs and additional Power consumption.

Osram also pointed out that the color temperature of LED street lights can be reconciled, realized by the mixing of white LEDs and yellow LEDs, with a life expectancy of about 50,000 hours, which greatly reduces maintenance and operating costs.

On the whole, LEDs combined with solar energy to create street lamps, in addition to reducing the cost of electricity consumption, also reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, and its more expensive price, is still one of the tests that will become popular in various countries in the future.
