At the same time, Xu Liancheng advocated modular design. He believes that modularization not only avoids the risk of high-power power, IP protection is easy to do, maintenance is as convenient as conventional street lights, greatly reducing the maintenance burden of enterprises.

Chen Haijun, chief engineer of Ningbo Liaoyuan, believes that white LED street lights can help improve road lighting safety. He believes that road lighting should not only consider central vision, but also the ability to detect peripheral targets. White LED street lights with short-wavelength blue light are more conducive to human eyes to detect surrounding objects.

He told the participants that “the high-power integrated modules produced by several companies in China have achieved a luminous efficiency of more than 130Lm/W, the highest is close to 150Lm/W, and the temperature is controlled at around 50°C. Professor Luo Xiaobing from Huazhong University of Science and Technology pointed out that the heat dissipation problem of LED devices is a systematic problem. There are LED chip thermal resistance, interface material thermal resistance, diffusion thermal resistance, environmental thermal resistance, etc. "We should reduce all thermal resistance at the same time is the key to solving heat dissipation." He believes that by developing multi-layer ceramic technology and achieving integration and multi-function of LED packaging, reducing the size of LED packaging systems and reducing packaging costs are the main trends of CoB technology.

I personally think that the replacement of high-pressure sodium lamps by LED street lamps is a trend of energy saving and emission reduction in the future, but it will take time to test the progress of technology development.
