The rapid development of energy-saving lamps, the lighting giants have potential development

The rapid development of the lighting industry, the promotion of low-carbon energy and energy, and the green lighting into the mainstream situation, led to the first phase of the ban on the elimination of incandescent lamps in the EU since September 1 last year. This marks that merchants in 27 EU countries will no longer purchase 100-watt incandescent lamps. This is only the beginning. According to the EU's timetable, from September 2010 to September 2012, incandescent lamps will gradually withdraw from the market. In China, the “green lighting” project was launched 13 years ago, and the popularity of energy-saving lamps is gradually being promoted.

China has eliminated the incandescent lamp without buffer period

As early as April 2007, the Australian government issued a notice prohibiting the use of incandescent lamps. Canada, Japan, the United States, South Korea and other countries have announced plans to introduce similar bills. China is also closely following the global enthusiasm for eliminating incandescent lamps.

In 1996, China began to organize the implementation of China's green lighting project. This project, which aims to promote energy conservation, environmental protection and lighting quality, has been in operation for 13 years. On July 24, the National Development and Reform Commission and the United Nations Development Program, the world The signing ceremony of the “China Phased Elimination of Incandescent Lamps and Accelerated Promotion of Energy Saving Lamps” project jointly organized by the Environment Fund was held in Beijing.

The schedule for eliminating incandescent lamps is getting closer. According to industry sources, the Chinese government will likely introduce a ban on the sale of incandescent lamps at the end of the year. According to relevant estimates, as the government has done a lot of work to promote energy-saving lamps in the early stage, the ban will no longer refer to the phased elimination form of the EU. By then, the era of incandescent lamps that has lasted for more than a century will really end.

China is a big incandescent country. In 2007, China produced 4.44 billion incandescent lamps, accounting for one-third of world production. With the increasing global elimination of incandescent lamps, in 2008 alone, the output of incandescent lamps in Guangdong fell by 29.76% compared with the previous year.

Energy-saving lamps have occupied most markets in Guangzhou

With the rapid transformation of the market, lighting companies that used to produce incandescent lamps, such as “Yaming”, “Philips” and “Foshan Lighting”, have invested in the development of energy-saving lamps.

In an interview with reporters, Zhang Shijun, general manager of NVC Lighting Guangzhou Operations Center, said that in the face of market conditions, NVC is preparing to phase out all the incandescent projects retained by it this year. Zhang Shijun also said that so far, some decorative incandescent lamps have not found a suitable energy-saving light source to replace, which is still a small test for the overall exit of the incandescent lamp market.

In 2008, China's first batch of financial subsidies for efficient lighting products launched more than 60 million energy-saving lamps. In 2009, the financial subsidies for energy-saving lamps will reach 120 million. Among them, Guangzhou will strive to promote the city's financial subsidies to promote 650,000 energy-saving lamps before November this year. With the increasing promotion of energy-saving lamps, the terminal market has rarely seen the sale of incandescent lamps on a large scale. In the investigation of Yibao Decoration Materials City, the reporter found that in the lighting shops, all corners were occupied by various types of energy-saving lamps, and it was difficult to find traces of incandescent lamps. When the reporter asked the clerk if there was an incandescent lamp, the answer was “no” without exception. The era of incandescent lamps has come to an end, and green environmental protection has become the mainstream trend.
