YESTech has announced the next-generation YTV B3 benchtop automated optical inspection system for mounting printed circuit boards. Currently, the upgrade system comes standard with the best YESTech fusion lighting.
The B3 automated optical inspection system features YESTech's exclusive fusion lighting technology that triples detection speed. The system includes new advanced image processing technology to provide the highest possible defect coverage for all desktop systems. Converged lighting is now available for all of YESTech's automated optical inspection systems, which include more than 600 color light-emitting diode (LED) lamps that project light onto the PCB surface from three different angles: high, medium, and low. Programmers can use fusion lighting to pick the color and illumination angle that best fits the PCB under test. This greatly enhances the contrast of the image, thus enabling the user to identify various features of the component body or solder joint that were previously difficult to observe by detecting the algorithm.
Currently, the B3 is not only equipped with a new hybrid lighting device, but also has two top-down thin cameras (TM) for more efficient detection of smaller components down to 01005. The magnification of these two cameras is one of the standard categories, and the other is high. The combination of two cameras allows small components to be detected without increasing the number of cycles. Conversely, the second camera can also set the magnification to a low level to improve through hole or profiled component detection.
